In my eight wild years at the CBC’s flagship arts & culture radio show, I produced nearly a thousand segments, including deep-dive feature interviews, tension-filled debates and lively panel discussions. Some of my favourite guests were Mandy Patinkin, Christopher Hitchens, David Rakoff, Nora Ephron, Tracy Chapman, Gloria Steinem, Laverne Cox, Sarah Silverman, and Oscar the Grouch.
